Private, multi session wheel throwing classes

Want to make something a little more elaborate, like a jar with a lid, or decorate and glaze your own pieces? With more time there are so many more possibilities!
In our longer private classes you can spend some hands-on time honing your skills on the wheel, decorate, trim and glaze your own pieces, then bring home your own set of handmade pottery! This class can be tailored to your interests- Make a set of mugs, bowls, plates, or even just one or two elaborate pieces, all with expert guidance. Each session is two hours long.
Two Session Class Breakdown:
Session 1: Wheel Throwing Day. Learning the basics or building on any previous knowledge you may have.
Session 2: Trimming/cleaning up the bottom of the pieces you’ve made on the wheel. This is also your opportunity to add handles to mugs or lids, carve into your pieces to add texture, attach three dimensional decorative elements, or decorate and paint your pieces.
Two Session (1 Person) $270
Two Session (2 Person) $340
Five Session Class Breakdown:
Session 1: Wheel Throwing Day 1. Learning the basics or building on any previous knowledge you may have.
Session 2: Wheel Throwing Day 2.
Session 3: Start trimming/cleaning up the bottom of the pieces you’ve made on the wheel. This is also your opportunity to add handles to mugs, carve into your pieces to add texture, or decorate/alter your pieces in any way.
Session 4: Finish trimming.
Session 5: Glazing & decorating.
(For Five Session classes, when scheduling please allow at least one week between your fourth and fifth session.
Five Session (1 Person) $625
Five Session (2 Person) $800
Your finished pieces will be fired and ready to pick up 1-3 weeks after your final session.
Class prices include all materials and firing costs. All classes are private- There will be no second person in your class unless you choose to bring someone.
