All workshops will take place in the Asch Building Home division. The building is located at 825 Studewood St, Houston TX.

These are one time hand-building workshops- perfect for beginners as a first introduction to the art of ceramics! All ages are welcome. (Hand building workshops will not be using the pottery wheel- If you want to take a wheel throwing class, find them on our ‘Classes’ page!)

All materials are included. Workshops will always start with a short demo of building techniques that can be used to create your piece. After the demo you are free to start building your piece with guidance from our instructors. After constructing your piece you may decorate it yourself with underglaze or pick out a solid glaze color.

All finished pieces will be fired in the kiln by us and ready for pick up four weeks after the date of your class.

*When attending a workshop, please plan to arrive ten minutes early to allow time to get settled in before your class starts!
